On Sunday 19 October, the SCEGGS Old Girls’ Union hosted its third SCEGGS Gives Back Day; a community event that brings the SCEGGS community together to reconnect and contribute to those in need. The event was held at Our Big Kitchen in Bondi, where participants took part in a lively MasterChef-style cooking challenge.
Working in House teams, participants created inventive dishes from mystery ingredients, showcasing impressive teamwork, creativity and good humour. Congratulations to Christian House, whose vegetarian pasta dish was selected as the winner.
Collectively, the group prepared over 100 healthy meals, which were delivered that afternoon to people in need near Central Station. Sincere thanks everyone in the SCEGGS community who generously volunteered their time to support this meaningful initiative.
