On 14 May 2026, we celebrated Ascension Day – a much-loved annual event that brings together Old Girls who left the School 50 years ago or more. Stories and memories were shared across generations, creating a joyful afternoon of connection and reminiscing. Accompanied by wonderful performances from our students, Old Girls reflected on their school days and the journeys that have followed over the past 50, 60 and even 70 years.
Over lunch, conversations turned to lifelong friendships, treasured memories of their education and the experiences that have shaped their personal and professional lives. There was plenty of laughter as tales of school-day mischief resurfaced; stories that, decades later, still spark smiles and laughter. There was also plenty of fun and dancing throughout the afternoon.
The day was a beautiful reminder of the enduring bonds within the SCEGGS community and the lasting impact of shared experiences across generations.
