Congratulations to our talented Primary string musicians, who achieved outstanding results at the Australian School Band and Orchestra Festival (ASBOF) at the end of last term.
The Primary String Orchestra was awarded Gold in the Brett Dean Premier Event for Primary School String Ensembles, recognising the students’ musical talent and dedication to their performance.
Two of our younger string ensembles also participated in the festival through online entries, with both achieving Gold Awards. Congratulations to Sinfonia String Ensemble and Stringalong String Ensemble on their wonderful results!
Performing for an audience and receiving feedback from expert adjudicators provides a valuable opportunity for young musicians to develop their skills, build confidence and reflect on their progress. These achievements are a testament to the students’ hard work and commitment in preparing their programs.
A special thank you to all our Primary string musicians for their dedication, and to the families who supported and encouraged them throughout their musical journey. Well done to everyone involved!
