On Friday 24 October, 93 Year 11 students took part in the annual Roughtober Sleepout, raising awareness and funds in support of Rough Edges, a local charity supporting people experiencing homelessness. It was wonderful to see our Year 11s extend kindness to others and strengthen their connections within our local community. The students not only exceeded their fundraising goal of $20,000 but also demonstrated exceptional compassion and maturity throughout the night.
During the event, students met and spoke with Darlinghurst locals who shared their lived experiences of homelessness. These conversations were deeply impactful.
