After spending six weeks in Lyon, five SCEGGS students have returned from a rewarding language and cultural exchange program in France. During their stay, the students lived with host families, attended classes at Lycée Saint Marc, and immersed themselves in daily life in one of France’s most historic and vibrant cities.
The exchange provided valuable opportunities to use French in authentic settings while gaining a deeper understanding of French culture. Students embraced new routines, sampled regional cuisine, and formed meaningful connections within their host communities. Throughout the program, they represented SCEGGS with maturity, confidence and enthusiasm.
The experiences and perspectives gained during their time abroad will continue to enrich their language studies and classroom discussions.
