Mondovision returned in Week 6, with students from Years 7–11 taking to the stage for one of our favourite annual events.
The international song contest celebrated the joy of languages through a vibrant showcase of musical talent, with performances in Chinese, French, Latin and Spanish. Students demonstrated not only their linguistic skills and creativity, but also plenty of courage, performing in front of an audience in a language other than their own.
After much deliberation, judges Ms Ryan and Ms Juhn named the Year 8 and Year 9 Chinese students as runners-up for their fantastic performance.
The Mondovision champions this year were the Year 11 French students, who wowed the judges and audience with their energetic take on Voulez-vous in French and took out the trophy.
