Nine Year 6 students recently put their mathematical thinking to the test at the Maths Cup, held at Amity College, competing alongside 102 teams from schools across the region.
They embraced the opportunity to tackle unfamiliar and increasingly challenging problems, working collaboratively in teams of three. The competition included mathematical tests, logic puzzles and problem-solving challenges designed to test both strategic thinking and flexibility.
The Maths Cup provided a wonderful opportunity for our girls to extend their mathematical thinking beyond the classroom and connect with other students who share their passion for Mathematics.
