Applications are invited from experienced Biology/Science teachers for a full-time, permanent position commencing in Term 1, 2022.
The successful applicant for this position will have a strong knowledge and understanding of Biology and Junior Science and demonstrated success in Year 7-12 classrooms. As a highly accomplished classroom teacher, they will be able to encourage, engage and inspire students, have experience in curriculum differentiation and expertise in using a range of different pedagogical strategies within the classroom, including the effective use of technology. They will be able to model the highest standards of professional skill and collaborative teaching practice and encourage students to be critical and creative thinkers and independent and self-reliant learners.
There may be some flexibility in this teaching load so that this position could be a part time (approximately 0.75 load) position if preferred by the successful applicant. They will also be committed to the full life of the School and supportive of its Christian ethos.
