Graduate Assistant Teacher Position – Primary School
A Graduate Assistant Teacher position is available for the 2026 school year for a newly qualified teacher (or student teacher in their final year of study) wishing to gain more experience working in a school environment before seeking a classroom teaching position.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and passionate new teacher and will demonstrate the strong interpersonal skills needed to work co-operatively as part of a team. The role will be predominantly based in Kindergarten – Year 2, but will also involve work with other classes, and individual students, across the Primary School. Some administrative work in the school office and Primary Library is also required. Depending on the needs of the successful candidate, this position can be either full-time or part-time to allow for ongoing study commitments.
