Graduate Assistant Teacher – Primary School

A Graduate Assistant Teacher position is available for the 2024 school year for a newly qualified Primary teacher (or teacher education student in their final year of tertiary study) wishing to gain more experience working in a school environment.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and passionate new teacher and will demonstrate the strong interpersonal skills needed to work co-operatively as part of a team. The role will be predominantly based in Kindergarten – Year 2, but will also involve work with other classes, and individual students, across K-6. Some administrative work in the school office and Primary Library is also required.

Depending on the needs of the successful candidate, this position can be either full-time or part-time to allow for ongoing study commitments.

The successful applicant will be committed to the life of the School and supportive of its Christian ethos.
