Throughout Years 7-10, all SCEGGS girls complete the NSW Education Standards Authority mandatory study requirements.

Each girl who satisfies these requirements will receive an A-E grade in each of her core and elective subjects studied throughout Year 9 and Year 10. These grades will be submitted to the NSW Education Standards Authority and will form one component of the Record of School Achievement (RoSA).

At the end of the Preliminary course in Year 11, additional grades will be added to the RoSA and then the HSC results will be added at the end of Year 12. The RoSA testamur will then be issued to any eligible student by the NSW Education Standards Authority when she finishes school, usually at the end of Year 12. Prior to this, students will be able to access these grades online through the NSW Education Standards Authority.
