SCEGGS debaters have concluded the ISDA and Eastside Debating competitions with outstanding results, showcasing skill, perseverance and teamwork throughout the season.
Congratulations to our Primary A ISDA team, who reached the Semi Finals and debated with confidence and maturity against MLC Sydney at Scots College. While they did not progress to the Grand Final, their achievement reflects a season of significant growth and dedication, and we look forward to seeing them continue to thrive in the years ahead.
SCEGGS also celebrated remarkable success in the Eastside Grand Finals, with our Year 9, Year 10 and Year 12 teams all claiming victory in their respective debates.
A special congratulations goes to the Year 12 team, whose Grand Final win followed a term marked by considerable adversity. Their performance was a testament to their resilience, composure and exceptional debating ability, earning a standing ovation from fellow competitors. It was a fitting reminder of the strength, support and spirit that define debating at SCEGGS.
